Terms & Conditions

Fee Policy

1. Fees are to be paid in advance on a subscription, one-time, or monthly basis, depending on the package/course registered.
2. Under the subscription & monthly package, each lesson is billed, and no deferred or skipped payment is allowed under any circumstances, such as class cancellation or absence due to illness, family events, school activities, and our school closures.
3. Under the subscription package, a non-refundable advance fee will apply upon enrolment.
4. The advance fee will only be utilized towards payment of the swimming lesson fees for the last four (4) classes, provided that a written notice of withdrawal from our school’s swimming program has been given to our school for at least four (4) classes in advance.
5. Our school reserves the right to stop any learners from entering our school’s pool should any outstanding fees be incurred.

Cancellation & Replacement Policy

1. Under the subscription package, any class cancellation or absence due to illness, family events, school activities, and our school closures shall be replaced on a date proposed by the learner/guardian and agreed to by our school.
2. Under the subscription package, all missed classes will have a lifetime validity provided the learner’s subscription remains active. The balance of missed classes will be forfeited after three (3) months upon subscription expiration or cancellation.
3. Under the subscription package, any replacement class must be pre-booked, and confirmation shall be granted depending on class availability and must be conducted on days other than the learner’s regular lesson day & time.
4. Class replacement service is only available while the learner’s subscription remains active.
5. Under the subscription & pay-as-you-go package, cancellation of classes shall be made by giving our school at least 24 hours’ notice before the time scheduled for the said class. Else, it will be considered as one (1) lesson.
6. Under the monthly package, no replacement will be provided for any class cancellation or absence due to illness, family events, school activities, and our school closures.
7. Any class that has been canceled owing to bad weather occurring after the commencement of the class shall be replaced with a more suitable time providing only that the duration of the canceled class was conducted for less than half an hour. Where the cancellation occurs after half an hour of the commencement of the said class it shall be deemed to be a full class and no replacement will be given.
8. A student shall be considered to have ceased to be a student at our school if he or she has been absent for more than four (4) classes without informing the management or stopping permanently/temporarily with a written notice provided by the administration. In such a situation, the said student may be allowed to re-commence classes only after settlement of the outstanding bill, and no replacement shall be granted for any expiry classes.

General Policy

1. Our school reserves the right to send a relief instructor to replace the class when the regular instructor is on leave. The lesson will be billed as usual even if you decide to opt out of the lesson.
2. Our school reserves the right to photograph, sound, and video record all classes and activities for training, publicity, and promotional purposes. Permission will not be sought from any individual.
3. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions by our school is accepted upon registration, and it applies to all branches under Optimum Train Swim School.
4. Our school reserves the right to amend the above terms at any time with prior notice, and the right to refund or reject customers should they refuse to comply with any of the above terms.

Disclaimer

1. We recommend that all learners should complete a medical examination before participating in any physical activity. You must declare to our school any illness, condition, or disability that may affect the ability of you and/or your child to swim or participate in the activities prior to enrolment.
2. You are aware of the risks inherent in the activities offered at this center and in consideration of whether you and/or your child are allowed to participate in the chosen classes or training that our school offers, personally assume all risks in connection herewith.
3. You agree to release and hold blameless Optimum Train Swim School, its employees, and instructors from all claims and liabilities of any type whatsoever, and for damages to loss or destruction of any property, or injury, sickness, or death which may now or hereafter arise. You hereby state that you are of lawful age and legally competent to enter into this agreement and sign this disclaimer, which you do of your own free will.
4. These Terms and Conditions may be translated into several languages for convenience purposes only. In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the English version and any translated versions of this Agreement, the English version shall prevail and be binding.
